Resolutions

It's the end of December, 2013.  Time for new resolutions, like keeping up with my blog.  I'm just going to jump in and not try to "catch up."

I have been thinking about my New Year's Resolution...I'm still formulating.  Of course, the obvious, stay on WW till I reach my goal.  But what else?  More to come.

Boxes are packed...almost done!  I will be away from the blog for about a month!  See ya in July!

This is my husband, Larry.  He is playing his recordings for me right now.  It gives me such a feeling to hear him sing!  Sometimes I wish I had encouraged him more to persue his talent.  He has a beautiful country voice.  I love him.  I am so blessed.

I am moving to Jacksonville!  I work for a bank customer call center in Pensacola, Florida.  I applied for, and was offered, a position at a branch in Jacksonville, Florida.  I am originally from Jacksonville and have lived there most of my life.  For the past 3 years,my husband, Larry (retired) and I have lived in Gulf Breeze, Florida, right outside of Pensacola, a beautiful Gulf Coast area and we have really enjoyed living here....but, my heart is always yearning to go home.

 and  my two daughters, Karen and Robin live in Jacksonville with their families (along with 5 of our granchildren). 

My mother and father (81 and 82 this summer) also live in Jacksonville as do one of my two sisters, cousins, Aunts and Uncles, old friends and neighbors, old schoolmates, etc.  I am so excited!  My husband will be staying in Gulf Breeze for the 1st month while we finish out our commitment on the aprartment.  I will go to stay with my parents while I go to two weeks of systems training and then two more weeks of mentorship training before taking my position as Financial Service Specialist I at the branch (which is in Orange Park).  My husband, Larry, will be taking care of securing our loan for a condo or home.  Hopefully we can be in our new home in 60 days.  After closing the apartment and moving our furniture to storage in Jacksonville, he will join me at my parents home for the next month.

Yesterday we collected boxes.  Today is Mother's Day.  Today is church and family day.  We will be going to Jamie and Priscilla's home for a Mother's Day/pool party.  Food, family and fun!  Fathom will be joining us with her family so we will have the three grandchildren together today!  There is a 70% chance of rain, so hopefully, the rain will come and go quickly or just blow over!  Priscilla is giving me her old newspapers for packing.

The next two weeks I will be packing up various rooms and closets so that when I drive out to Jacksonville, Larry will be living in boxes!  Poor guy.  The plan is to drive back on Friday after work on June 29th so that I will be here with Larry when the movers put our things on the truck.  He will tow my car (the smaller of the two) and I will follow him in his car as he drives the truck to Jacksonville.  Then on Sunday we will have two guys unload the truck into a storage unit.  Whew! 

I am so thankful!

My new Brother is on the way!

I have ordered a Brother LS2300PRW Limited Edition Project Runway Sewing Machine (Refurbished) and it has been shipped! Yay! Here's what it looks like! Can't wait.
